When should I book my bridal makeup artist?
6-18 months before your wedding, depending on the season - for example if it is currently January 2027 when you are enquiring, and your wedding is June 2028 this is a reasonable time in advance to book as summer weddings (particularly Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) get booked up quickly. If it is May 2027 when you are enquiring and your wedding is midweek in November 2027 there is likely to still be availability at this timeframe still.
Do you travel?
Yes, I travel within approx. 1 hour from my home in Buckfastleigh. Further distances are possible but may require an overnight stay at a B&B beforehand. Full details are included in my T's & C's, which will be sent via email during your enquiry.
Do you offer trials?
Yes, I call these 'previews' as they are included and required to preview your wedding makeup look in advance of the big day. They are usually booked 4-8 weeks before the wedding. We liaise to book this a few months in advance to ensure you get a suitable date that you can attend. These take approx. 2 hours in the comfort of your own home (if within 1 hour from my home, otherwise travel is added on top).
can you stay for touch-ups?
I stay right up until you are dressed and ready to leave and get married, to ensure final touch-ups are completed and you look and feel your absolute best. You can also add on additional touch-ups for a cost (for example after the ceremony).
